Call me a RINO, socialist or ??? - but the propagation of untruths and conspiracy theories about airline industry safety practices has to STOP. Pundits have enabled the mind-blowing politicization of the Pandemic. Airline safety is not driven by politics nor influenced by punditry.

The FAA establishes the standards pilot trainees have to meet before graduating to the right seat of a commercial airliner. The men and women hired today have to meet increasingly stringent standards to earn their wings. The safety record of the industry is unimpeachable. But that would require a fact check.

The US airline industry and its people have been badly injured by the Pandemic. Safety has not. 'Nuff said.
